Longthium Energy Group set up Longthium R&D Insititue to synchronize the research and development of LFP and FP, emphasizing product synergy and product innovation. There are 64 employees in the R&D institute, with more than 8 master and doctoral degree holders.

 

The institute is equipped with advanced analytical test equipment and battery test equipment, and has mastered a number of core process technologies in the material manufacturing process. The R&D institue is continuously working on the product selection and generation, and the products have been updated from PC10 to PC50.

Relying on the mineral resources and industrial layout of Chengtun Group, Longthium R&D institute has set up a professional R&D center with complete supporting facilities at Shehong production base, and has carried out R&D activities with many colleges such as Chengdu Research Institute of Chengtun Group, Southwest University of Science and Technology, and Sichuan University, with strong technical support and R&D strength. At the same time, it has introduced domestic advanced automated intelligent production equipment and adopted leading process technology to successfully transform a number of market-competitive LFP products such as high-density & high-capacity material PC20 and low-temperature material PC10. It has mastered a number of core key technologies such as low-temperature supercritical synthesis technology, nano-carbon layer coating technology, high-density synthesis process, particle size grading and distribution methods.

The R&D institute has 47 independent intellectual property rights, including 28 invention patents, 16 utility model patents, 3 software copyrights; 1 academic paper in TOP journals; at the same time, there are 15 patented technology applications have been submitted to the national intellectual property rights review.
