In order to promote the strategy of "downward expansion materials", Shenzhen Chengtun Group integrated the lithium ferric phosphate and ferric phosphate businesses in early 2024 and established Longthium Energy Group as the third business segment of Shenzhen Chengtun Group.
Founded in 1993, Shenzhen Chengtun Group (hereinafter referred to as CTG ) is headquartered in Shenzhen, with its western headquarters (global operation center) located in Chengdu. The CTG employs more than 15,000 people and has operations in mainland China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Fujian, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, etc.), Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Zimbabwe, Zambia, Nigeria, South Africa, Argentina, etc., and is actively expanding its global business areas.
Relying on the rapid development of the new energy industry, the Group has been deploying nickel, cobalt, lithium and copper energy metals around the world since 2016. With the development strategy of exploring and mining minerals and smelting and manufacturing core materials for power and energy storage batteries, it has achieved an integrated layout from resources to materials industry.
The CTG now owns two listed companies—Chengtun Mining (stock code: 600711) and Chengxin Lithium (stock code: 002240). In the future, the group will follow the strategic direction of "Upper control resources, downward expansion materials", give full play to its resource advantages, technical advantages, talent advantages and synergy advantages, and form an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of lithium salt, 200,000 tons of copper, 100,000 tons of nickel, 16,000 tons of cobalt, 380,000 tons of lithium ferric phosphate, 300,000 tons of zinc, and 450,000 tons of ferric phosphate. Focusing on new energy metals such as nickel, cobalt, lithium, and copper, we will accelerate the pace of reducing carbon emissions, strengthen green technology innovation, actively participate in the transformation of the national industrial structure and the adjustment of the energy structure, and strive to become the most growing and competitive enterprise in the new energy resources and new energy materials industry through the development and utilization of energy metals, and contribute to the smooth implementation of the country's "dual carbon strategy" and the sustainable development of world energy.
