In the current competitive market environment, the construction and operation of a complete quality management system is the cornerstone of the sustainable development of enterprises. In order to meet the development trend of the domestic lithium battery industry, better meet the requirements of existing domestic major customers, and lay the foundation for subsequent business cooperation with foreign customers. The four branches and subsidiaries of Longthium Energy Group, Longthium New Energy, Longthium New Materials, Qianyuan Electronics, and Yingda Lithium Battery, have successfully obtained multiple system certifications such as quality management system (ISO9001), automotive industry quality management system (IATF16949), environmental management system (ISO14001), occupational health and safety management system (ISO45001), energy management system (ISO50001) and carbon verification declaration certificate (ISO14064&ISO14067). It shows the outstanding strength of the group company in quality management, production management, product technology, safety, environmental protection, green energy saving, etc.
In order to promote the effective implementation of the quality management system and reduce the common "two-layer system" phenomenon in the operation of the quality system. After careful planning, the Longthium New Energy and Longthium New Materials System Group proposed and began to implement the "Integrated Management System Deep Integration Plan" in May 2024 to ensure the implementation of the management system documents, management systems and related processes, and truly integrate them into the company's daily operations.
In order to improve the execution of the "Integrated Management System Implementation Plan", the company established a cross-departmental collaborative "System Promotion Group". Each department appointed a dedicated system corresponding specialist to clarify the responsibility and management responsibilities for the formulation and update of each system document and system process to ensure the efficient promotion of various system work and fully demonstrate the company's execution and collaborative spirit. According to the company's actual business processes, each department refined the company's secondary procedure documents and tertiary execution standards to ensure that the operation process meets the company's operational needs. In formal and professional language, the various requirements and processes are concisely and clearly explained to make the optimized operation process smoother and more efficient. The first round of document optimization was completed in August 2024, and relevant personnel from various departments were organized to conduct multiple rounds of training and promotion to ensure that personnel at all levels have a deep understanding and strict implementation.
In order to continuously monitor the compliance of the quality system operation and the implementation of the "Integrated Management System Implementation Plan", Longthium New Energy and Longthium New Materials launched quarterly QSA/QPA internal audits in March 2024. In July, the layered audit (LPA) project was launched, which is divided into four audit levels: team/engineer level, supervisor level, department head level, and director level. The on-site management of the production workshop is regularly audited at a frequency of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. The responsibility for auditing problem points at each level is assigned to individuals, and supervision is carried out to improve and close them on schedule. The progress of audits and improvements is announced regularly on the production workshop management dashboard every month. Through continuous supervision and PDCA cycle improvement of different intensities, the continuous improvement and improvement of relevant management systems, processes and on-site operation standardization are ensured.
In order to check the continuous operation of the integrated management system, timely summarize the operation status and identify improvement opportunities, so as to identify and seize improvement opportunities. Longthium New Energy and New Materials held the "2024 First Half System Summary Meeting" in July, and all departments comprehensively reviewed the operation in the first half of the year and summarized the operation results of each management system. In October, the "Layered Audit Phase Summary Meeting (3rd Quarter)" was held. All departments had in-depth exchanges, summarized the implementation experience, analyzed the causes of existing problems and put forward optimization suggestions. Through regular system operation summary meetings, the aim is to continuously improve the effective operation of each management system and promote the sustainable development of the company.
In order to encourage all employees to actively participate in quality system management activities, the company has established a quarterly "Quality Model" selection activity. The company has also successfully held the selection and awarding of the third quarter quality model, setting an example for employees to learn and increasing the enthusiasm of employees to participate in quality management.
Although the construction and operation of Longthium Energy’s quality system have been on the right track and have made a good start, it still needs to be continuously improved and upgraded. In the follow-up work, it is still necessary to firmly establish the concept of customer first and strive for excellence; strengthen cross-departmental collaboration and in-depth communication to form a strong synergy in quality management and jointly promote the improvement and development of the quality management system; pay close attention to the dynamics and trends of industry development, and timely adjust and optimize quality management strategies and means to adapt to the development of the lithium battery industry; deepen the publicity and popularization of the importance of quality management, enhance the quality awareness of all employees, and create an excellent corporate culture atmosphere in which all employees pay attention to and actively participate in quality management.
In the future, Longthium Energy will continue to deepen the construction of the quality management system, strengthen the comprehensiveness and refinement of quality management, promote the deep integration of the quality management system and digitization, continuously improve the level of quality management, and lay a solid foundation for achieving high-quality development.
